Ensuring that our children are happy and healthy is fundamental to the culture and ethos of Morley Victoria. Following the success of our Investors in Pupils reaccreditation we were advised that the next step for us as a school was to work towards ‘Healthy Schools’ level one.
We have now registered the school and have a working party who meet regularly to move the school nearer to achieving this status. We are currently completing an evaluation about where the school is under the four areas of:
PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education)
SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health)
When we have completed the evaluation we will draw up an action plan about how to make improvements in these four areas across the school. There will be lots of work taking place next term and in 2018-2019 to ensure we achieve Healthy Schools Level One. Watch this space for more information, news, letters and policies.
