Parent / carer Questionnaire Analysis

What do we do with the responses?

At Morley Victoria we pride ourselves in working in partnership with our parents and carers. Twice a year we ask parents and carers to complete a questionnaire about how their child is getting on at school. The first comes at the first Learning Review Meeting of the year in October and the second with the end of year School Report in July.

The vast majority of responses from our parents are extremely positive. We do however, appreciate open and honest responses and ensure that any concerns that are raised are addressed quickly, appropriately and by the right person. We do this to ensure that the way we run our school and our work with families improves further. We would hope very much that any issues would be brought to our attention at the earliest possible convenience rather than leaving it to these two times - we want all of our children to be happy at school and will do everything we can to ensure that this happens.

In the past parents / carers have requested more information about how to help and support their child at home.  We have listened to this and at Learning Review Meetings we have given out end of year expectations and discussed particular areas they could work on at home, with examples of activities.
