At Morley Victoria we understand that starting in Nursery and/or Reception is such a big transition for children and their families. We appreciate that making the decision regarding where to send your child to school is a very important one and getting 'a feel' for a place is so important. Families need to rest assured that their children are in good, safe hands.

If you are considering choosing Morley Victoria for your child’s Nursery and/or Reception place, please come and look around on one of the following dates:

Monday 23rd October, 3:30pm

Tuesday 7th November, 3:30pm

Thursday 23rd November, 3:30pm

Wednesday 20th March - Nursery Open Evening – 3:30-4:15pm

If you intent to come to one of the above dates, please contact the school office to book on.

It is so important to us that all families and children are fully informed and have their questions and concerns answered before they start with us.

We have a full transition package planned each year to ensure the transition into school runs smoothly. This is reviewed, changed and improved yearly or to fit the individual needs of the children coming into school. The transition process always involves with the children starting by attending reduced hours, which are then built up to their full times hours.

There is information on this page and in the EYFS section of the school website that will help and inform families about life at Morley Victoria.  Please also make sure you look at our website in full and follow us on Twitter too.

Here are a list of books about starting school that you might like to read to your child to support their understanding around this important transition:
